Meet Suzanne
Suzanne is a co-founder and Principal of 2130 Partners. She is a recognized speaker on the topics of Accelerate Your Leadership™ and Productive Interactions™, addressing various organizations around the world in such diverse environments as indigenous women leaders in Peru, college students in China, and women entrepreneurs in the Middle East.
Among Suzanne’s many accomplishments some highlights have been, being tapped by the U.S. State Department to address the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Businesswomen’s Summit. Churm Media named her one of “20 Top Women to Watch” and she was asked to co-create and teach curriculum for “The World Academy for the Future of Women” at the SIAS International University in China. And, last but not least, her 3 years as the Global CEO of the Hunger Project.

Making a Difference
Suzanne was a Group Chair for Vistage International for almost 20 years and is now a Chair Emeritus. Vistage is a professional organization dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and enhancing the lives of chief executives. Vistage and its affiliates have more than 24,000 members in 20 countries, making it the world’s largest executive coaching organization for small and midsize businesses.
Suzanne and her husband, Dwight, have also been investors and activists for The Hunger Project for over 20 years. They travel extensively throughout Africa, India, Bangladesh and Latin America to assist the organization in mobilizing local people to create lasting society-wide progress in health, education, nutrition, family incomes and the empowerment of women. As a next level of commitment to the sustainable end of world hunger Suzanne became the CEO of The Hunger Project in May 2017. In 2020 she returned to 2130 Partners and is currently taking on new projects and clients.

2130's program Productive Interactions is the result of more than 20 years working “in the trenches” with business leaders and their teams helping them to identify and solve the real issues they face every day. The most challenging issues are often the ones “in the human dimension” – meaning how to get individuals and teams communicating effectively and efficiently to create results. The skills and capacities you will develop in Productive Interactions will increase your effectiveness and ability to work successfully with others immediately.

Our world is rapidly reshaping in many amazing ways. In this evolving new reality, successful leadership will have a very different nature than traditional approaches. It was quite different to be a leader in simpler economic times and when the world moved at a slower pace with less connectivity. Patterns of entitlement offered at least the illusion of security, and there was more time and predictability in producing results.
Now at a time when previous business models and assumptions have been turned on their heads, people’s livelihoods are changing and disappearing regularly, and successful businesses are being transformed for the new realities - the leadership required is radically agile, proactive, and creative. As we go forward, those who lead will be the ones taking advantage of the creativity and productivity gains available by focusing on the human, collaborative dimension, while the rest will suffer in the face of unrelenting change.
