ABOUT THE BOOK
Leaving was only the beginning
Leaving a high-control group, a destructive cult, or an abusive relationship is one of the hardest things a person can do. But the confusion, the guilt, the identity questions — those don't leave when you do. What Now? was written specifically for this moment.
Chris Shelton spent 27 years in Scientology — 17 of them in its demanding Sea Organization. After leaving, he earned a master's degree in coercive control and spent years helping others understand what happened to them and how to genuinely recover. This book is the distillation of all of it — honest, clear, and built for the person who is ready to find their way forward.
WHAT YOU'LL FIND INSIDE

How Coercive Control Works
